In this episode I discuss the science of interconnectedness. Based on the wisdom of ancient spiritual traditions, now supported by science, I make the case that we should view the world as a single, interconnected organism. This not only generates more compassion for others by seeing our “oneness,” but also helps “diagnose” and “treat” the world’s problems by drawing upon knowledge of disease at the individual level. I discuss the purpose of symptoms, namely to draw our compassionate attention. Expect to learn:

  • How the world and body mirror one another in their structure and function.
  • The universal principles that govern all life on earth, from bacteria to cities, economies, companies, and ecosystems.
  • How the laws of balance and homeostasis apply across all systems, from our individual bodies to the world itself.
  • What disease or “chaos” in our bodies has in common with the 2008 economic collapse.
  • The scientific evidence for collective consciousness, including data from September 11th, 2001.
